The SCAR Rear Plate was designed as a replacement for the OEM SCAR 15p, 16, 17, and 20 rear plate. Also great for a new build! Please see the last picture for recommended torque specs for all SCAR Rifles.

Great product! Allows you to change/swap buttstocks (SCAR AND SCR) without any problems and has QD sling mounts for left and right carry.

I wanted a monolithic endpoate that would have ambi QD sling mount points and that would get rid of the stock SCAR rear plate "ears." This is a quality solid piece. Purchased alongside with the rear plate supports. Wanted to beef up those two rear mounts to future proof just a bit. Excellent customer service to boot. That in itself is stupid hard to find these days. Will purchase again.

5 Quality upgrade for QD mounts

Machined well and fits the same as OEM. I wanted an aftermarket rear plate for upgraded QD mounts. Lingle’s design works good for both single and double point mounted slings. I’d buy it again to change over another Scar and recommend it to anyone wanting QD mounts.

This was a direct replacements for my stock FN back plate. I used mine in conjunction with their reinforcement plates that Lingle offers and couldn’t be more pleased with the fit and function. These guys continue to make products that improve several different weapons platforms.

5 Installed SCAR17 Rear Support Plate

I really like the QD sling point that's part of this rear plate. The plate installed perfectly without any difficulties at all. I took the opportunity to also install Lingle's rear plate supports on both sides to reduce the risk of keyholing. I've had my SCAR 17 since 2011, and was pleasantly surprised that I have had no keyholing so far. I wanted to keep it that way so I decided to go ahead and add the support plates at the same time. Perfect fit, as always, Lingle, and finish was perfect as well looks great and much more useful that the OEM sling points.
