SCAR Rear Plate Support

Product Overview

The SCAR Rear Plate Support was designed to beef up the rear of the SCAR 16, 17, and 20.  These plates add additional material to help prevent keyholing in the rear plate mounting holes when overgassing occurs.  

Note: Price listed is for one side, to be used with KDG's Rear QD Sling Mount.  Please click "Yes" to receive a pair or for both sides.

  • 7075 Al with a hardcoat black anodized finish.
  • Comes with upgraded Torx screws.

    Solid idea for addressing canted screws.

    Ordered for my SCAR17 to address the issue of canted bolts when running suppressed and with an aftermarket stock. These support plates fit perfectly and absolutely help to mitigate some of the problems with canted bolts on the SCAR platform.

    SCAR Keyholing Prevention

    I really like these rear plate supports. I've had my SCAR17 since 2011. I haven't noticed any previous keyholing and was pleasantly surprised not to find any when I removed the screws to install these reinforcing plates and screws. I installed a new Lingle rear plate at the same time, and everything went together perfectly. I'm really pleased with the QD connector on the new rear plate. Thanks, Lingle. All your stuff is really robust and and always fits perfectly.
