    Extended Bolt Catch Lifter

Posted by Unknown on Aug 30th 2023

Really disappointed as this would be an excellent upgrade over stock if it worked. The part is a noticeably softer material than stock which isn't ideal for high wear parts. As the extension of the lingle lifter, where it enters the breech release, is slightly shorter (and softer) than stock, it deformed and slips out of the actual breech release mechanism when the lifter is depressed. Mine, installed correctly, did not work at all.

Awesome Idea! But, Needs an Aluminum Option

Posted by me on Jun 30th 2022

This was the first part I ordered for my Bren 2. I received it the same day I picked up my Bren 2. Of course, I promptly installed it. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. Since it is two pieces, plastic (polymer or nylon, whatever), and more leverage from the "wings", there is quite a bit of flex and I don't have confidence it will hold up. I know the original is polymer or plastic but this one is two pieces and has more leverage. I think it needs to be aluminum or at least an aluminum option. Even if it costs a little more.

    3d printed madness

I purchased this and received unbelievable fast shipping! Dropped it in and man this thing was super rough. It went in easily but was so tight that I couldn't drop the bolt with one hand. I had to take it out and sand it down quite a bit in order to allow the bolt to drop with one hand. I took super fine sandpaper and filed the channels and lubed her up! Works like a champ now.
